EBENEZER MINISTRIES is committed to carrying a Burden for the Land of ISRAEL by partaking in the GREAT MOVE OF GOD in the fulfilling of Israel's PROPHETIC DESTINY : A LIGHT TO THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD.
An Important and Exciting Chapter in the Autobiography of Chairman, Gershon Salomon, in the Field of Battle.
Gershon Salomon, Chairman of the Faithful Movement, an Officer in the Israeli Army, Was Dedicated to Fulfill the Dream of His Life and the Dream of His People, Israel, When the G‑D of Israel Appeared in the Field of Battle in One of the Most Critical Moments of Gershon’s Life. In This Battle, He Was Dedicated to Rebuild the Holy Temple.
Two of the most critical stories and exciting events in the life of the chairman of the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement, Gershon Salomon, profoundly symbolize the major and most historical event of the rebirth of Israel. More than this, they symbolize the end-time major godly redemption of the people and the land of Israel from terrible destruction to the rebuilding of the kingdom of G‑d in Jerusalem. As an officer in the Israeli army, Gershon was involved in battles to protect Israel from the Islamic Arab enemies who came to destroy her and to push the people of Israel into the Mediterranean Sea from the first moment of the rebirth of Israel in the Promised Land in the year 1948.
During one of the fierce battles against Israel, Gershon Salomon was dedicated to fulfilling the dream of his life. It was when the G‑d of Israel appeared to him in the field of battle in one of the most critical moments of his life and dedicated Gershon to rebuild the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. A few years later when the Israeli army liberated the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, G‑d appeared again to Gershon at the location of the Holy of Holies of the Holy Temple. These two critical episodes marked the direction of Gershon’s life and affected the history of Israel forever.
Since 1948, Israel has been attacked seven times by Arab enemies. They came again and again to destroy Israel, to make another Holocaust upon the people of G‑d, and to push them into the Mediterranean Sea. However, the plans of the G‑d and the people of Israel were completely different. More than 300,000,000 Islamic Arabs with their armies of seven Arab countries with the backing of more than a billion Muslims worldwide and the help of other nations were defeated by the tiny Israeli nation and its small army. How could this happen? The answer is very clear: As in biblical times, the G‑d of Israel became the general and the commander of the modern Israeli army and fought together with the soldiers in all the fields of battle. Indeed, the Hebrew Bible shares with us:
"Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle." (Zechariah 14:3)
There are many stories and reports from the fields of battles among Israeli soldiers who felt and experienced the presence of the G‑d of Israel and His angels with them during the battles. Even Arab soldiers have reported that they experienced angels fighting with the Israeli forces.
Gershon shares: "When I, as a young officer, had the privilege to command one of the commando units of the Israeli army, I experienced the presence of the G‑d of Israel in one of the most critical battles. My small unit and I served in the area at the front of the Golan Heights to protect the Israeli kibbutzim and villages and to liberate the area that the Syrians had occupied in the Independence War of 1948. My unit was attacked by thousands of Syrian Arab soldiers. We experienced the presence of G‑d in this battle and even other times during the year when we were attacked again and again by the Syrians. Decisively, in this perilous battle, my small unit defeated the many Syrian soldiers. How could this happen? Please read again Zechariah 14:3. G‑d fought with us as He promised.
Close to the end of the long battle, I was severely injured when one of the two tanks that I had with my unit mistakenly drove over me. The entire tank rolled over my body from one side of the vehicle to the other side. I lost consciousness but I survived this horrific accident. This was only one of the miracles that happened to me in the battle. I remember that the night was very dark. I laid motionless on the ground when I became conscious for a while. My two legs were paralyzed. When I opened my eyes, I thought that I was alone, but I felt the presence of G‑d and the stars shining on me with rays of light. Suddenly, I could hear a group of Arabs walking toward me speaking Arabic. I understood that they came to take revenge on the commander of the Israeli unit that defeated them, as was their custom on every wounded and dead Israeli soldier lying in the fields after battle. The well-known Syrian custom was to double-shoot in the head every Israeli soldier who fell to the ground in battle. I still had my gun with me, and I could have started shooting them as they came close to me. However, I decided to repeat the ‘Shema Israel’ which is what Israelis say when they are facing death: "Oh listen Israel, the LORD is our G‑d and He is one." In the same moment, I felt like G‑d was speaking to my heart, saying to me: "Don’t hurry away. I am not finished with you and here I am calling you and dedicating you for a great major event, the rebuilding of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. The dream of your childhood and young life will come to pass in your lifetime." In the same moment, as I prayed the ‘Shema Israel’, I suddenly heard the group of Arabs running farther and farther away from the place where I laid on the ground.
I continued to feel the presence of G‑d while I lay paralyzed on the field of battle as He encouraged me, strengthened me, and gave me hope for the future of my life. What could be more than the promise of the G‑d of Israel Himself dedicating me to build His House on the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem? I knew that by the rebuilding of the Holy Temple, the door would open for my people to be again, as G‑d ordained them to be "a kingdom of priests, a holy nation, and a light to the nations." (Exodus 19:5,6; Isaiah 42:6; 49:6), which means to be a biblical nation with a biblical mission and a biblical identity. I felt that the G‑d of Israel had listened to my prayers when I was a child and a young boy, and He answered them with such kindness and dedication. The most special part of this miracle is that it happened to me in the field of battle of my Holy Land. I felt such a privilege to be dedicated for this cause in the field of battle and to be injured on the holy ground of the Holy Land. Though I laid on the ground unable to move, I felt honored to be there. With my last words before I lost consciousness again, I thanked G‑d for the great privilege of Him saving my life on the field of battle for one of the most important causes ever.
Later, after my soldiers found me in the darkness of night still laying in the field, I was taken to the hospital. I was told that a long and complex surgery had saved my spine which was strengthened with a platinum rod. My life was saved. This was another miracle. After more than one year in the hospital, I slowly began to heal and very gradually started to move my legs.
At that time, United Nations observers came to the hospital to visit me in order to write the report for the Security Council of the United Nations about the horrific battle where I was injured. The U.N. observers were Dutch citizens. They said to me, "We came to write the protocol of the battle, as we have already done the same with the Syrian officers who fought in the battle. However, with you, we must share something that will give you the strength and hope to overcome your severe injury. The Syrian officer shared with us that they came to take revenge against you and kill you. When they came close to you, they could see by the light of the stars that illuminated you so brightly that you were surrounded by angels. They became very afraid and full of fear and started to run back to the Syrian mountains and into their bunkers. They felt like the angels were running after them." When the U.N. observers spoke these words to me, the doctors together with my soldiers and my family surrounded me and tears came in their eyes and some of them spoke deep impassioned words of thanks to the G‑d of Israel.
The experience I have shared in this chapter of my autobiography is one of the most important episodes in the history of the rebirth of Israel in the Holy Land that the G‑d of Israel covenanted to His people Israel. It inspired the goal to rebuild G‑d’s Holy House on His Holy Mountain in Jerusalem which will become one of the most important events in the history of Israel and humanity. Children and students everywhere will study in schools and universities the exciting history of the building of the Temple, the Third Holy Temple.
The rebuilding of the Holy Temple has been the hope and desire of the people of Israel since the destruction of the Second Temple and the long exile of almost 2,000 years. Now, with the rebirth of Israel as a nation and as a kingdom in our lifetime, the soon rebuilding of the Holy Temple will benefit the history of all mankind. It will open an outstanding time of high moral standards, peace, and justice all over the world that is desperately needed in the complex and calamitous times in which we live.
Look forward to the next chapter in this autobiography! It reveals the completion of this first major episode in the field of battle that took place at the location of the Holy of Holies on the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem. It occurred on the same day of the liberation of the Holy Temple Mount by Israeli forces in the 1967 Six Days War, when Islamic Arab nations tried again to destroy the nation of Israel.
Day and night, I and my friends in the Faithful Movement in Israel, and outside of Israel, carry this holy cause and we are sharing it with our people Israel and with our friends outside of Israel. We feel the presence and blessings and encouragement of G‑d in our holy work. There is a great awakening in Israel and among many wonderful people all over the world who have joined us in this work. We feel that soon, we shall stand together with all our friends from Israel and from all over the world in the rebuilt House of our Creator. We shall give Him thanks for giving us the privilege to be the builders of His Holy House and to open the Eastern Gate of the Temple Mount for Mashiach (Messiah) Ben David sent by the G‑d of Israel to lead His chosen people, Israel, in all the world.

Part II: Autobiography of Gershon Salomon
“1967, the Israeli Army Liberated the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The G‑d of Israel Appeared Again to Me and to Israel on the Location of the Holy of Holies Like in the Biblical History of Israel. It Was Another Most Critical Event That Marked the Direction of My Life and Affected the History of Israel Forever.”
Gershon Salomon shares: "The year 1967 was another most critical time in the life of Israel and in my personal life. During this year, the Arab countries of Egypt, Syria, and Jordan attacked Israel from every side with backing from the other Arab countries, the Islamic world, and additional nations in the world, especially the Soviet Union which even provided military armaments for the attack. The Israeli army liberated the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The G‑d of Israel appeared again to me and to Israel on the location of the Holy of Holies like in the biblical history of Israel. It was another one of the most critical events that marked the direction of my life and affected the history of Israel forever.
The Six Days War in 1967 was one of the greatest godly episodes in the biblical history of Israel: The Israeli army under the leadership of the G‑d of Israel liberated the Holy Temple Mount, Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, the Sinai Peninsula, and all the biblical areas on the west bank of the Jordan River that were still under foreign control after 2,000 years of destruction. In only six days, Israel defeated all the countries that attacked the Land of Israel. The desire of the G‑d of Israel and His people Israel for one hundred generations finally came to pass in just six days. It was a miraculous godly time that could happen only once in the life of a nation. It marked and designed the direction of the life of Israel and my life forever.
After more than one year in the hospital, since I was very severely injured in the field of battle, I volunteered and rejoined the Israeli army. In the beginning, I used a wheelchair and later I was able to move with the use of two crutches. As time passed, I was able to use two canes and eventually I moved with only one cane. I served a full military service. All the promises given to me by the beloved G‑d of Israel when I had laid critically wounded in the field of battle came to pass.
On the third day of the Six Days War, after a heavy battle, Israeli troops (myself included) entered biblical Jerusalem through the Eastern Gate of the Old City and immediately proceeded to the Holy Temple Mount through the northern gate that is called the Tribes Gate. It was not an accident that our Israeli forces entered the Old City of Jerusalem and the Holy Temple Mount through the Eastern Gate. An old tradition in the history of Israel tells us that Machiach (Messiah) Ben David will come through the Eastern Gate of the Temple Mount to the Holy Mountain of G‑d.

Gershon Salomon on the Temple Mount, 1967
When I stood in front of the location of the Holy of Holies on the Holy Temple Mount, tears of joy and excitement filled my eyes and the eyes of the soldiers. I felt like I was hearing the call of G‑d telling me: "For this moment and for this Most Holy Place, the Holy of Holies, I saved your life. Build my House and go to my people Israel and call them to build my House with no more delay, so I will dwell again among my people Israel and among all creation." This was the time that I desired and prepared myself for all my life since childhood. I, and the soldiers around me, felt the presence of G‑d so powerfully on this most Holy Place in the entire world. We could feel the holiness of the location of the Holy of Holies, which is covered by the Dome of the Rock that the Arab Muslims built after their initial occupation of the Holy Temple Mount in the year 638 ce. The Dome shrine was built at the end of the 7th century by a pro-Jewish Muslim caliph, Abd al-Malik, to be a house of prayer for the Jewish people. At that time, Caliph Abd al-Malik controlled Damascus and the Land of Israel.
As I stood on the Holy Place, I felt like I was in heaven in front of the throne of the Holy One of Israel, the King of Kings, the G‑d of our forefathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I felt like the gate from heaven was again open and heaven and earth touched each other. Such a moment, a human can experience only once in his life and once in many generations. In this case, it happened after many generations of Jews who had desires, dreams, and prayers, and in the exile were taken to their deaths by inquisitions and holocausts. They swore never to forget the Holy Temple, the Holy Temple Mount, and Jerusalem. When I heard General Mordechai "Motta" Gur, the commander of the Israeli army unit that liberated the Holy Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem, declare from the Temple Mount to all the radio networks in Israel and the entire world: "The Temple Mount is in our hands!", I knew it was the moment that the people of Israel longed and waited for since the destruction of the Second Holy Temple in the 1st century ce. Here it was, it came to pass in my lifetime and in the life of my generation. When this exciting call of General Motta Gur was heard all over Israel, life suddenly stopped in the streets, in the houses, and even in the battle fields. Israeli citizens cried together with the soldiers on account of the great excitement and overflowing joy. Everyone felt that a hundred generations of destruction and exile were over! In just six days, the G‑d of Israel with His Israeli army defeated all the Arab forces that came from all sides to destroy the people and the land of the G‑d of Israel.

Gershon Salomon at the Western Wall, 1967
Another incredibly exciting moment happened while I was walking from location to location, from place to place, on the Holy Temple Mount looking and hugging the remains of the Holy Temple that the Romans destroyed in the year 70 ce. Suddenly a civilian person appeared and introduced himself as a tour guide from the time of the occupation of the Holy Temple Mount by the Jordanian Arabs. He was not dressed as an Arab and did not speak to me in Arabic, but in English. He asked me to allow him to guide the Israeli soldiers and me on the Temple Mount. I asked him why he wanted to do this and why was he not afraid of the Israeli soldiers in the middle of battle cries that were still being heard from all sides of the Old City? He answered: "I was sent by G‑d to show the soldiers and you the location of the Jewish Temple and the location of the Holy of Holies." He continued saying: "The G‑d of Israel, the G‑d of the Jews, sent me to show you the location of the Jewish Temple and to tell the people of Israel that He returned to His House to be rebuilt now by His people Israel." Then he took me and the soldiers to the Dome of the Rock and said, "This is the location of the Holy of Holies." Then he took us to the Eastern Gate and said, "Your Machiach (Messiah), the seed of David, will come through this gate." He continued and said, "Even in the ‘Qur’an’, the holy book of the Muslims, is written that G‑d will redeem His chosen people Israel and will return them from exile to their place on the Holy Temple Mount and rebuild the Temple." He continued, "You can see with your own eyes that this time has come and we, the Muslims, are sure that Israel will soon rebuild the Holy Temple as it is written in our holy book."
While I was walking with the soldiers from place to place, this mysterious person suddenly disappeared, and we did not see him anymore. He was no longer on the Temple Mount. We were so surprised, and we asked each other, "Who could this strange person be and why did he suddenly disappear?" The feeling was that maybe he was not a human being, but an angel, sent by the G‑d of Israel to His people Israel, to share the godly significance of this moment. He appeared to us as a human being, as in the biblical times. Everyone was sure that he was an angel and the messenger of G‑d to us at this major moment. It seemed like a dream, but we were awake, and we knew that it was a reality. The Holy Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) that I always carried with me wherever I went was immediately opened at this most exciting moment and the Word of G‑d was prayed here and all over the Holy Temple Mount. A scripture from Psalm 126:
"A song of Ascents. When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like men who dream. Then our mouths were filled with laughter, and our tongues with singing: Then they said among the nations, ‘The LORD has done great things for them.’ The LORD has done great things for us; we are glad." (Psalm 126:1-3)
Since I was a child, I was taught and learned that in the heavens above the Holy of Holies there is a gate from where G‑d is reflecting His Glory and speaking His Word to His people Israel. After the destruction of the Second Holy Temple in the year 70 lce, this gate was closed and will be reopened when the end-time Holy Temple is rebuilt. When I was standing on the Temple Mount on the day of the liberation, I lifted my eyes to heaven, and I saw a red color that covered the sky. I felt that the Spirit of the G‑d of Israel appeared above us, celebrating together with all of us this great moment of the liberation of the most holy place in the entire world, the House of G‑d. Then I felt like I was seeing something like letters of fire from heaven. It looked to me as the Word of G‑d to His prophets Isaiah and Micah speaking again to our end-time generation:
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. And many people shall go and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the G—d of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths; for from Zion shall go forth Torah, and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And He shall judge among the nations, and shall decide for many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more.... But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of Hosts has spoken it." (Isaiah 2:2-4, Micah 4:1-4)
My experiences on the Holy Temple Mount on that major day of the liberation in 1967 were the highlight of my life, that marked and designed the rest of my life and affected the history of Israel forever. I swore before the G‑d of Israel as I stood inside the Dome of the Rock, the location of the Holy of Holies, that I would not be silent or rest until the Mountain of the G‑d of Israel is liberated and the Third Holy Temple is built. I dedicated my entire life for G‑d and for this most holy cause of my life. During these exciting moments on the Holy Temple Mount, I could hear sounds like Machiach Ben David, the Messenger of the G‑d of Israel, knocking from the Eastern Gate of the Temple Mount calling to His People Israel:
"Open for Me the Gate! I Am Here!"
However, the Israeli leadership was not able to answer this call and the call of this major liberation, the desire of the prophets of Israel and the desire of hundreds of generations of destruction and terrible exile. In a moment of terrible weakness, the Defense Minister of Israel, General Moshe Dayan, took down the Israeli flag with the Star of David from the top of the Dome of the Rock that the Israeli soldiers had raised there. He called the Muslims to return to the Holy Temple Mount, gave them the keys to the gate of the Temple Mount, and allowed them to continue their pagan worship and abomination of the House of the G‑d of Israel. General Moshe Dayan turned this day, the glorious day of liberation, the day of outstanding joy and celebration into a day of dreadful mourning and sadness. Such a tragedy never happened in the history of Israel. He was afraid that a billion Muslims from all over the world would come and attack Israel and would destroy the Third Kingdom of the people of G‑d. He did not trust the G‑d of Israel Who gave to His people such victories and promised to stand with Israel and to triumph even if all the world will come against His people.
This was the historical moment that Israel should have answered the call of the Chief Rabbi of the Israeli army, General Rabbi Shlomo Goren, and remove the Islamic shrines from the Holy Temple Mount, and purify it, and rebuild the Holy Temple as G‑d called His people to do. The G‑d of Israel expected His people to do exactly as our forefathers did when foreign shrines were built on the Holy Temple Mount. The Defense Minister, Moshe Dayan, rejected the call of the Chief Rabbi, Shlomo Goren.
When this most tragic event happened, I knew that my task was to form the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement and to start the campaign and the struggle to save the Holy Temple Mount and to rebuild the Holy Temple with no delay. After this most tragic decision of General Moshe Dayan, I immediately called Israeli leaders who were faithful to the G‑d of Israel and formed the "Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement". Since 1967 ce, I and my friends and many Israelis have been carrying the following call of G‑d to His people Israel and to all the world:
"Thus says the LORD of hosts: These people say the time has not yet come to rebuild the house of the LORD ... Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, while this house lies in ruins? ...Thus says the LORD of hosts: Consider your ways. Go up to the hills and bring wood and build the house, that I may take pleasure in it and that I may be glorified, says the LORD." (Haggai 1:2,4,7,8)
Day and night, we carry this message to Israel and to all the world which will motivate and show the direction and design for the history of Israel forever. Never will there be peace in Israel and in the world until the Holy Temple of G‑d is rebuilt on the location of the First and Second Holy Temples. We are now living in a time of terrible disasters and epidemics that dreadfully harm humanity and cause unbearable suffering. Only the building of the Third Holy Temple on the Holy Mountain of G‑d in Jerusalem will repair and restore this terrible time. Then, the wonderful vision of the great prophet Micah will come to pass:
"... But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid; for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken." (Micah 4:4)
Day and night we carry this message to Israel and to the world. We feel the blessings, the encouragement, and the support of the G‑d of Israel and the universe in our work. There is a great awakening in Israel and from people all over the world who have joined with us in this holy work. We know that soon we shall stand together with all our friends from Israel and the entire world together with the Lovers of Zion and Israel in the rebuilt House of the G‑d of Israel and the universe. Together we shall give Him thanks for the great privilege that He has given us to be builders of His House and to open the Eastern Gate of the Holy Temple Mount for Machiach Ben David, sent by the G‑d of Israel to lead His chosen people Israel throughout the world in righteousness (Isaiah 11). I am calling everyone to help us, to sponsor us, and to give us the ability to continue this most outstanding cause and campaign ever."

MINISTRIES ASSOCIATED WITH EBENEZER MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL
The PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA : JAWAHARLAL NEHRU 1947 - 1964 in Book "Glimpses of World History" 1934 wrote " Remember Apostle Thomas came to India, when many of the countries of Europe, had not yet become Christian and so those Indians who trace their Christianity to him, have a longer history and a higher ancestry than that of Christian's of many of the European Countries. And it is really a matter of pride to us, that it so happened."
During the years from 2005 - 2015 Ebenezer Ministries International was involved in assisting Pastor Katta Edukondalu and his Ministry in Andhra Pradesh, Guntur District India as they followed in the footsteps of Apostle Thomas in Evangelizing in the Southern part of India.
The Apostle Thomas arrived in India by sea on the Kerala SW Coast of India in 52AD and was martyred and buried in Mylapore near Madras up NE Coast of India from Kerala in 72AD.
The route he followed from Kerala to Madras was via Andhra Pradesh where Pastor Katta and other Believers are located.
There were other Jews (Cochin Jews) that had settled in Kerala India.
The Apostle Thomas was the only Apostle evangelizing outside of the Roman Empire at the time.
The Apostle Thomas established a number of Churches with strong Christian Commuities in India who kept the Faith and still follow the liturgy Apostle Thomas introduced up to this day and are very proud of their Christian roots that can be traced way back to the Apostle . No doubt there are roads, hospitals etc. named after him.
Pastor Katta and other Believers committed to reaching the lost souls went into very remote areas walking or using bicycles, trains , buses etc. As they went into Hindu territory that was sometimes hostile and wiped the dust off their feet wherever they were not welcomed.
They held Crusades & street ministry.
In the 2011 census there were : 79.8% Hiindu 14.2% Islam, 2.3% Christian's, 1.7% Sikhism, 0.7% Buddhism and 0.4% Jainism.
