Ezekiel 14

King James Version

1 Then came certain of the

elders of Israel unto me,

 and sat before me.



2 And the word of the Lord

 came unto me, saying,



3 Son of man, these men 

have set up their idols 

in their heart, and put the

stumblingblock of their

iniquity before their face:

should I be enquired of

at all by them?



4 Therefore speak unto them,

and say unto them, Thus

saith the Lord God; Every man

of the house of Israel that

setteth up his idols in his

heart,and putteth the 

stumblingblock of his

iniquity before his face,

and cometh to the prophet;

I the Lord will answer him

that cometh according to the

multitude of his idols;



5 That I may take the house 

of Israel in their own heart,

because they are all estranged

from me through their idols.



6 Therefore say unto the house

of Israel, Thus saith the Lord

God; Repent,and turn yourselves

from your idols; and turn away

your faces from all your

abominations.



7 For every one of the house of

Israel, or of the stranger that

sojourneth in Israel, which 

separateth himself from me, and

setteth up his idols in his

heart, and putteth the 

stumblingblock of his iniquity

before his face,and cometh to a

prophet to enquire of him

concerning me; I the Lord will

answer him by myself:



8 And I will set my face against

that man, and will make him a

sign and a proverb, and I will cut

him off from the midst of my 

people; and ye shall know that

I am the Lord.



9 And if the prophet be deceived

when he hath spoken a thing, I

the Lord have deceived that 

prophet, and I will stretch

out my hand upon him, and

will destroy him from the 

midst of my people Israel.



10 And they shall bear the

punishment of their iniquity: 

the punishment of the prophet

shall be even as the punishment

of him that seeketh unto him;



11 That the house of Israel may

go no more astray from me,

neither be polluted any more

with all their transgressions;

but that they may be my people,

and I may be their God, saith

the Lord God.



12 The word of the Lord came again

to me, saying,



13 Son of man, when the land 

sinneth against me by trespassing

grievously,then will I stretch out

mine hand upon it, and will break

the staff of the bread thereof,

and will send famine upon it,

and will cut off man and beast

from it:



14 Though these three men, Noah, 

Daniel, and Job, were in it, they

should deliver but their own souls

by their righteousness, saith the

Lord God.



15 If I cause noisome beasts to

pass through the land, and they

spoil it,so that it be desolate,

 that no man may pass through

 because of the beasts:



16 Though these three men were in 

it, as I live, saith the Lord God,

they shall deliver neither sons 

nor daughters; they only shall

be delivered, but the land

shall be desolate.



17 Or if I bring a sword upon 

that land, and say, Sword, go

through the land; so that I cut

off man and beast from it:



18 Though these three men were in

it, as I live, saith the Lord God,

they shall deliver neither sons nor

daughters, but they only shall be

delivered themselves.



19 Or if I send a pestilence into

that land, and pour out my fury 

upon it in blood, to cut off from

it man and beast:



20 Though Noah, Daniel, and Job

were in it, as I live, saith the

Lord God,they shall deliver

neither son nor daughter; they

shall but deliver their own souls

by their righteousness.



21 For thus saith the Lord God;

How much more when I send my

four sore judgments upon

Jerusalem,the sword, and the

famine,and the noisome beast,

and the pestilence,to cut off

from it man and beast?

22 Yet, behold, therein shall

 be left a remnant that shall

be brought forth, both sons

and daughters:behold, they

shall come forth unto you, 

and ye shall see their way

 and their doings: and ye

shall be comforted concerning

the evil that I have brought

upon Jerusalem,even concerning

all that I have brought upon

it.



23 And they shall comfort you,

when ye see their ways and

their doings: and ye shall

know that I have not done

without cause all that I have

done in it, saith the Lord God.

In these last days, all that

can be shaken will be shaken;

only The WORD of GOD shall

remain standing.

In this reading, God is angry

with His People because they

have separated themselves

from Him,and have gone astray

by setting up IDOLS in their 

hearts.

Idol worshipping separates you 

from God.

Today Money & Power are the

biggest Idols being worshipped

by man all over the world. It

is the root of all manner of

evil in the name of Corruption.

If you are struggling 

financially you need not 

corrupt yourself, but TRUST

IN THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY in

Honoring the Tithe into the House

of God, a Covenant Blessing from 

God who WILL supply all your needs

according to His Riches in GLORY.

Even the Church today is

worshipping Money; as we read it

was so even in the past when God

instructs Ezekiel as the Elders of

Israel come before Him

to tell them to Repent and turn

away from all their abominations

or bear the punishment of their

iniquity (both Prophet and the 

Congregation).

The Church today accumulates

large amounts of money in their

Bank Accounts while many are

starving. It is hard for a

starving man to hear the Word

of God when his stomach is empty.

Even Jesus knew this as we read

in the Scriptures when He broke 

the Bread and Fish and fed 5000

 people.

Today people have put Money

above God thinking it will save

them. The Lord says this will NOT

happen for He can send calamities

such as Pestilences, Famine, and 

Sword, etc. to go throughout the 

Land and there is nothing they can

do to escape unless they turn

their hearts back to God in

Righteousness through Salvation in

The Lord Jesus Christ as in the

case of NOAH, DANIEL,and JOB.

Today COVID 19 seemed to be

over when people got vaccinated 

and put down their masks.

Now there is a variant DELTA

that is threatening even the

vaccinated.

People will be wandering up and

down not knowing which way to

turn, for their money cannot 

save them.

JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY; for it is

ONLY The Lord who can save.

The Lord is also furious with

all manner of False Prophets

that are deceiving the people

 and will deal with them

harshly.Some people put their

Trust in what looks like 

"Mighty Men of God" instead of

putting their trust in The

Almighty God Himself.

The Lord not only wants to save

you from calamities on the

Earth BUT also from the

ETERNAL FIRE OF HELL.

God is a Merciful God and He

has done all He could to enable

you to be with Him in the

Eternal Kingdom Of God by

Giving His only Begotten Son 

Jesus Christ to die for your

sins.

God is not a Dictator and has

given you a free will to

accept His Son into your

heart, who is Th Resurrection

and the Life without whom no

man shall see God.

COME TO JESUS; THERE IS NO

OTHER LIFE; HE IS 

LIFE EVERLASTING.

 

Isaiah 38

 Let us praise God for the blessing of this day. It is by His Grace and His MIghty power just to get out of bed to be here in His Presence, in these last days when the body says “no I am too tired.” Lord deliver us from this body and let your Spirit rise above everything; Holy Spirit let us decrease and You increase in us. This morning I feel even if we might be few in number that this Sanctuary is packed with the Presence of Angels ready to deliver according to our needs.  Is. 38 In this chapter we read about King Hezekiah of Judah who was not only very sick but God was going to deliver his kingdom into the hands of the enemy.  God sent his Prophet Isaiah to tell him that his days were numbered and King Hezekiah would surely die.  What did he do wrong?    Let us first observe the history before King Hezekiah’s reign. Before King Hezekiah was king Ahaz, who was the father of King Hezekiah. He did evil in the sight of the Lord by closing the doors of the Temple and putting up shrines for idol worshipping all over Judah [at this time after the fall of King Solomon Israel was split into two kingdoms; Israel in the north and Judah in the south]. By the time King Hezekiah came on the throne Judah was in ruins and he had to rebuild the Kingdom. There never was another king in Judah like King Hezekiah before and after. The National reforms he made then, were unlike the ones our leaders would make today or even the ones made at that time. King Hezekiah knew that he had to rebuild Judah Spiritually first in order to achieve everything else like economic prosperity and general welfare. Hezekiah called all the Priests in the land and ordered the doors of the Temple to be reopened as well as a thorough cleansing of the Temple. For the first time since King Solomon he observed the Passover Feast in Judah and he even sent out invitations to the tribes of Israel in the North. There was a mighty revival, a call for repentance, Hezekiah was successful in everything he undertook for the Lord was with him. Nonetheless Hezekiah, like the rest of us, did not escape trials. It is surprising that he panicked when the Assyrian king threatened to attack. Four years into his reign King Hezekiah witnessed the destruction of Israel in the north under the Assyrians; and now fourteen years later under another king they were threatening to attack Judah. King Hezekiah, instead of going on his knees and calling out to God, let pride take over and he decided to do it his way. He stripped the Temple of all the gold and silver and delivered it to the king of Assyria as a desperate plea to be spared. The king of Assyria did not change his mind. It was this pride, walking away from God, and compromising his faith that brought sickness to Hezekiah and the threat to his kingdom.    The good thing about King Hezekiah is that he wasn’t too proud to admit his mistakes. He had faith that he still had another chance. After the message came, with a Prophet of God, that he was going to die he cried out to God, reminding God of the good he had done. He repented of his sins and asked forgiveness and more years to his life. Isaiah the Prophet of God was sent back to King Hezekiah to confirm that God had heard the King’s prayer and that He would add fifteen more years to his life. Regardless of the message having been delivered, King Hezekiah sought confirmation through a sign.    This is a good teaching for us today. We need to be intimate in our relationship with God not half walking with Him. When you are not fully devoted to God he walks away from you and you are no longer safe from the traps and attacks of the enemy. Sickness and other calamities find a way into your life. 
 

 MARK 5 : 25-34 LEV. 15 : 19, 25-30 

And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days; and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until even.:25 And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of  the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation : she shall be unclean.:26 Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.:27 And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean and shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.:28 But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.:29 And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.:30 And the Priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the Priest shall make an atonement for her, before the Lord for the issue of her uncleanness.MARK 5 : 25-34:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,:26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse:27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched His garment.:28 For she said if I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole.:29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.:30 And Jesus immediately  knowing in Himself that virtue had  gone out of Him, turned Him about in the press and said “Who touched my clothes?”:31 And His disciples said unto Him, Thou seest the multitude thronging Thee, and sayest Thou who touched me?:32 And He looked round about to see her that had done this thing.:33 But the woman fearing and trembling knowing what was done in her , came and fell down before Him and told Him all the truth.:34 And He said unto her “Daughter , thy faith had made thee whole; go in peace and be whole of thy plague.”

In This reading from the Scriptures we encounter a woman with an issue with blood that would not stop flowing out of her. In those days such a woman could not worship in the Temple because she was considered unclean. A woman would stay away from the Temple until she stopped bleeding, before she could come back into the temple to worship. This woman had suffered for 12 years and had spent all she had on many physicians but the plague became even worse. When the woman heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by, she was determined to force her way to where he was standing; for she knew by faith that if she could only touch the hem of His garment she would be healed. She pressed her way through the crowd and managed to reach out and touch His clothes. Surely in the Temple this would have been likened to entering the Holy of Holies in that unclean state of being. Only that with the coming of Jesus was a new covenant of Grace.Jesus’s sudden reaction asking, “Who touched my clothes,” was not because someone had touched Him and defiled the Holy of Holies but because the woman’s faith was so great Jesus felt the power of healing flow out of Him. He wanted to know who possessed such faith that could draw healing power out of Him without His knowledge. The disciples knew nothing of what had happened for they could not comprehend why Jesus would ask such a question when there was a multitude pushing him from all sides. When Jesus turned around He knew who had done it and looked at her straight in the face. The woman could hide it no longer so she told Him it was her. We must understand how difficult it was for her to admit it was her because she had gone as filthy and unclean as she was and touched his garment. This was unheard of at that time.Jesus is calling to you all who need healing and deliverance. Prostitutes, Gays, Lesbians people with all manner of Diseases etc. etc.“Come as you are and I will heal you and set you free.”Jesus does not discriminate against any one; and is accessible by all. He is The Light of the World; He suffered and died for you and me.
